Whatever your offering to the capital campaign, it is honorable in God's sight when given in the spirit of love and in graditude for all God has first given us. Pray that God will show you and your family creative ways to give sacrifically during the next three years. Remember that gifts to the capital campaign should be over and above regular tithes and offerings that support the Church's annual budget.

Please send a message with your donation and let us know where you would like your money to go. For Example, to the churches budget or to the Mobilizing to Build Fund, etc.

Pray -- this is the first and most important step you need to take in preparation for your response to the capital campaign,

Gifts of Cash

  • cash contributions may be made in one lump sum or in installments over the 36-month campaign
  • types of gifts include currency, check, or money order
  • donors receive full tax benefits in the years they make cash gifts

Using the chart below, notice how a specific weekly or monthly sacrificial gift multiplies throughout the 36-month campaign. You may be able to give more when it's spread out over time. Prayerfully consider taking advantage of this option which keeps you financially involved throughout the entire process.

Gifts of Assets

  • Securities {stocks, bonds, mutual funds}: You can deduct the current fair market value as a charitable gift, and there is no capital gains tax if stock is transferred directly to Neuse Baptist Church.
  • Real Estate: You are permitted a tax deduction for the gift and there is no long-term capital gains tax if property {a residence, income producing or undeveloped} is tranferred directly to Neuse Baptist Church.
